Spearheaded by Nikki Jacobs, Founder and Director of Skylar Projects, and Saskia Falken, Media and Marketing Professional, the initiative focuses on celebrating, supporting, and advancing the contributions of women entrepreneurs in South Africa’s micro-economy. Born out of a deep passion for uplifting communities in South Africa, this initiative is driven by the belief that when a woman entrepreneur’s self-belief and skills set are strengthened, she not only transforms her own future but also becomes a light of empowerment for others. The Woman Entrepreneur initiative serves to motivate the ordinary woman to become extraordinary in the spaces and communities that she serves.

Our Why
We believe that empowering the women entrepreneur is key to unlocking micro economic growth and fostering vibrant communities. When women thrive, they uplift everyone around them, creating a ripple effect of positive change.
Our How
We provide tailored events, training, coaching, and community support that equips the woman entrepreneur with enabling spaces, the relevant skills and the boost of confidence she needs to turn her dreams into a successful business. Through engaging events, accessible resources, and a supportive network, we assist her to overcome obstacles and seize opportunities.
